Wire EDM Operator

We’re looking for a solid Wire EDM Operator to run multiple machines in a high-precision shop making handheld-size engine components and related parts for automotive, aerospace, power generation, and Department of Defense work. The department currently has 8 Wire EDM machines (Mitsubishi and GF / George Fischer equipment). You’ll be expected to run multiple machines at once. More experience is strongly preferred, and they’re looking to move quickly (target start within the next 30 days).

Top 5 Daily Duties

• Set up, program/edit, and operate multiple Wire EDM machines (Mitsubishi and GF/George Fischer) to produce precision parts to tight tolerances.
• Load and unload workpieces, change wire, and keep machines running efficiently across the department.
• Read blueprints and work instructions, make adjustments as needed, and maintain consistent part quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using standard precision measuring tools.
• Handle basic machine maintenance and support continuous production on the multi-machine Wire EDM cell.
