Original job description

Join Deloitte's SAP practice and build a career at the forefront of business transformation, where innovation, industry insight, and leading technology come together to solve complex challenges. You'll work with dynamic teams and leading organizations to modernize core processes, enable digital transformation, and help clients unlock lasting value through SAP-enabled solutions.

Recruiting for this role ends on 1/15/2027.

Work you'll do

As a Manager on the SAP team, you will support clients across the solution lifecycle, from business process assessment through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Lead SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) design and delivery on SAP S/4HANA programs, from fit-gap assessment through build, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
Own solution design for ASC 606 and IFRS 15, including performance obligation determination, standalone selling price (SSP) allocation, variable consideration, contract modifications, and contract combinations.
Assess and design solutions for complex revenue scenarios, including cross-company contracts, percentage-of-completion, multi-element arrangements, and in-flight contract migration; support OCM capabilities and migration from CCM to OCM; and support integration between SD-RAR and SOM-RAR.
Lead functional design and oversee configuration, data migration, testing, defect management, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and change adoption.
Design RAR integrations with BRIM, Sales and Distribution (SD) and billing, Project Systems, configure-price-quote (CPQ) platforms, Universal Journal, and reporting and analytics; apply SAP BRF+ and other SAP capabilities to support rules-based determination and address solution gaps through Clean Core-aligned options, including Business Technology Platform (BTP) extensions, hybrid approaches, and controlled custom development.
Advise client stakeholders on RAR design decisions and their business or compliance implications; contribute to proposals, client presentations, and key design-decision documentation; and mentor and review team members' work while supporting quality, knowledge transfer, stakeholder communications, and training.

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
Ability to lead projects or workstreams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others

The team

Deloitte's SAP practice helps clients design, implement, and sustain SAP-enabled transformations across core business functions. Our teams combine industry knowledge, functional experience, and technology capabilities to support first-time implementations, business-led enhancements, and large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs.

Professionals in the practice work with leading organizations across industries to modernize operations, improve process performance, and unlock value through cloud, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 10+ years of experience in SAP, ERP, or consulting
8+ years of SAP consulting experience supporting solution design and end-to-end delivery in a consulting firm, industry environment, or both
4+ years of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) experience, including solution design and hands-on configuration supporting ASC 606 or IFRS 15 requirements
Experience delivering at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP RAR implementations or migrations, with a primary delivery or workstream leadership role on at least 1; at least 1 must be on SAP S/4HANA
Experience designing a solution for at least 1 of the following revenue scenarios: cross-company contract combinations, percentage-of-completion, or multi-element SSP allocation
Experience presenting SAP RAR design decisions to client stakeholders
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

2+ years of client service delivery experience in a consulting or professional services firm supporting transformation engagements
SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance, RAR, or Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), or a CPA or CA credential.
Experience with BRF+ for rules-based determination (POB, SSP) and moving custom ECC logic to Clean Core-compliant designs.
Experience with in-flight contract migration, opening-balance reconciliation, and SOX / audit trail design.
Experience with pre-sales and orals, including proposal contributions.
Experience evaluating or applying SAP Business AI or Joule use cases involving contract and performance obligation interpretation, AI-assisted standalone selling price estimation, ABAP remediation, or continuous controls monitoring , including documentation of human-review considerations.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.
