Original job description

The Team The Innovation & Delivery Transformation (I&DT) team is building the future of Deloitte's business through new AI-native platforms and products. The team is responsible for identifying, nurturing, scaling, and winning in new markets through new capabilities. Rather than relying on what the firm has historically done, I&DT looks ahead and invests in areas where growth is expected three, five, and ten years into the future. This role sits within Products+ at the portfolio level, supporting the overall Product+ data strategy, usage tracking, and procurement. Position Summary Data is the foundation of every AI-native product we build, and Product+ needs someone to shape how we source, govern, and capitalize on it. In this role, you'll define the Product+ data strategy, build the third-party data and technology relationships that bring it to life, and advise leadership on how our data assets can drive new revenue. If you want to sit at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and monetization, this is a rare chance to do it at portfolio level. Recruiting for this role ends on 12/06/2026. Work you’ll do In this role, you'll lead the effort to define and execute the data strategy for the Product+ portfolio, working with Product+ leadership and stakeholders across the organization. You'll also manage the third-party data and technology relationships that support it and keep our processes compliant. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the process to define, document, and refresh the Product+ data strategy, aligning priorities with Product+ leadership
  • Engage stakeholders across the firm (product, technology, legal, risk, and finance) to gather requirements and build consensus on data needs
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard third-party data and technology providers that support the data strategy
  • Manage ongoing vendor and partner relationships, including contract renewals, usage, performance, and cost
  • Administer the firm processes required for data and technology acquisition, including procurement, risk, and compliance reviews, and keep documentation audit-ready
  • Track and report data usage and spend across the Product+ portfolio to inform investment decisions
  • Support financial metrics and associated Product+ P&L reporting including commercial performance across pipeline, adoption, margin, and annual growth targets.
  • Serve as a key advisor on data monetization efforts, helping assess opportunities, pricing considerations, and go-to-market approaches
  • Prepare recommendations and updates for Product+ leadership

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to translate ambiguous strategic goals into clear, actionable plans
  • Strong executive communication and the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Comfort navigating complex, cross-functional processes and balancing competing priorities
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive, contractual, or regulated information
  • Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach with both internal stakeholders and external partners

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years' experience in data strategy, data product management, vendor/partner management, or technology strategy consulting
  • 2+ years' experience managing third-party data or technology vendor relationships, including contract or renewal management
  • 2+ years' experience working directly with senior stakeholders or leadership teams
  • Experience working within an enterprise procurement, compliance, or risk review process
  • Ability to travel up to [10]%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • 2+ years' experience supporting or advising on data monetization, data licensing, or data product pricing
  • Experience in a professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environment
  • Experience tracking and reporting on software or data usage and spend (e.g., using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Experience working with AI/ML products or data used to power them
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a related field

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 - $265,100. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
