- Gain a comprehensive understanding of procurement’s role in the supply chain process, including sourcing, purchasing, managing supplier relationships, contract management, market research, managing disruptions, procurement software, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Support Category Managers by analyzing current category/product uses, competitive sets, and conducting SWOT analyses.
- Gather and interpret data and provide actionable insights to optimize category strategies.
- Manage conditional projects to maintain continuity of supply and drive efficiency.
- Learn about methods and tools for predicting future supply needs.
- Gain practical experience in developing negotiation techniques by shadowing category managers.
