deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in STEM field from an accredited university Experience Requirements: - Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing. - Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing. - Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements. - Experience in C++ development - very strong Python background - Experience using Elasticsearch - Missile Defense domain knowledge - Strong Analytical Skills Special Skills Desired: - Experience using Atlassian toolset - Doors - Jenkins - Bitbucket - Security+ certification - GMD/MDA Experience Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
