IT Programmer Analyst – Houston, TX (Remote)

Location: Remote – Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $72.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Dean’s Professional Services is seeking an experienced IT Programmer Analyst to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional with hands-on Infor Lawson ERP experience to develop, maintain, and support business applications while analyzing processes and identifying opportunities to improve system performance and departmental efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct moderate to complex analyses within assigned areas to evaluate processes, monitor resources, and assess departmental effectiveness.

• Review historical data and identify trends to support informed decision-making and process improvements.

• Develop, maintain, and support Infor Lawson applications using Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.

• Translate complex business requirements into effective application solutions.

• Provide application and technical support for Infor Lawson ERP systems.

• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate system problems, and support ongoing application functionality.

• Work with non-Infor Lawson applications as needed to support business and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to evaluate system needs and improve application performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, business, or a related field is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant programming and application support experience is required.

• Hands-on experience developing Infor Lawson applications using Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.

• Demonstrated experience with Infor Lawson ERP.

• Proficiency in application development, maintenance, and technical support for Infor Lawson applications.

• Ability to work with non-Infor Lawson applications when needed.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to evaluate processes, interpret data trends, and support complex technical and business requirements.
