This unique position offers the opportunity to work across Same Day Surgery, Procedural Pain Clinic, and non-oncology Infusion Services, allowing you to expand your skills while providing compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing same-day surgical and pain management procedures, as well as patients receiving non-oncology infusions.
• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including review of medical history, medications, laboratory results, vital signs, and required consents.
• Monitor and care for patients during Phase II post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and discharge readiness.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate individualized plans of care and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer and monitor non-oncology infusion therapies while assessing patient responses and addressing concerns.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
• Advocate for exceptional patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another Compact State.

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous experience in surgery, procedural care, PACU, outpatient services, infusion therapy, or pain management.

Schedule

This position includes weekday hours with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
