Maintenance Supervisor

Prepares, plans, and schedules for maintenance of buildings (exterior and interior), grounds, equipment, and tools. Supervises and conducts day-to-day repairs to buildings, to include plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting, and/or maintenance repairs needed. Operates and supervises the use and maintenance of equipment to include snow blowers, small engines, vehicles, etc. Supervises maintenance crew, purchases supplies for day-to-day maintenance and inventory, and responsible for quality control of maintenance repairs. Participates in annual property inspections along with Property Management. Coordinates and supervises emergency and after-hours maintenance repairs. Responsible to effectively communicate and coordinate vacancies with Property Manager in order to turn over and fill units in a timely manner. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from senior high school plus three years of full time paid professional employment in work directly related to the above summary of duties. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. Ability to establish a positive working relationship with staff, tenants, and contractors, and be able to work with and around people in a safe manner. Salary negotiable
