Job Description – Part-Time School Cleaning Technician Position: Part-Time School Cleaning Technician Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time School Cleaning Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while supporting the school's daily cleaning needs.
Responsibilities
- Empty trash and replace trash liners throughout the school.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the cafeteria before, during, and after meal periods.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and cleaning procedures.
- Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial or school cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
