Press Operator

We are looking for Press Operators for the Broken Arrow facility for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift.

This position is responsible for operating and tending to the press machines to mold, shape and form rubber components. Essential Duties

• Reviews job documents for details and instructions to determine procedures and settings for pressing components;
• Loads rubber components on to molds and activates press;
• Monitors machine operations and observes lights and gauges in order to detect malfunctions;
• Provides the Quality Inspector with sample of finished product, as required and makes adjustments as recommended by the Supervisor or Lead. Notifies Lead when components and/or molds don’t meet standards;
• Cleans excess product from molds as needed;
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak & read English well enough to convey information effectively;
• Ability to complete basic math operations, computer data entry and form fields;
• Ability to use basic hand tools;
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds with arms outstretched; Ability to stand for extended amounts of time.
