Original job description
As Content Engineer, you will design, build, and run the infrastructure that breaks pillar content into modular pieces, adapts those pieces for each platform, and publishes them on a reliable cadence, using AI and other technologies to make every step faster and better.
You are a builder first: you prototype workflows, write the prompts and automations, and set the quality gates. You will work closely with writers, subject matter experts, and executives so the content remains very human and in Moore’s voice. You will be a key member of the Marketing team, contributing to the overall vision and goals of the department.
Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management (CXM) company achieving accelerated growth for clients through integrated supporter experiences across all platforms, channels and devices. We are an innovation-led company that is the largest marketing, data and fundraising company in North America serving the purpose-driven industry with clients across education, association, political and commercial sectors.

Your Impact:
- Design and execute repeatable workflows that turn a single pillar asset into a full suite of derivatives (posts, bylines, email sequences, carousels, video scripts, slide modules, and more).
- Create content across channels and modes (written, audio, video, programming assets, etc.).
- Create and maintain the structured (tagged, modular, and versioned) content library.
- Create and maintain a structure evidence library of verified facts, statistics, and examples.
- Build and refine AI agents, prompt libraries, and automations.
- Develop and maintain a documented voice profile for the Moore brand and content authors.
- Find and fill gaps in queries and topics where Moore is absent or misdescribed in traditional search and LLMs with high-quality structured content.
- Document these systems so others can run it.
- Continually improve time from asset to full release, number of derivative assets, and content quality.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years in content operations, content strategy, marketing operations, or a related field, including hands-on experience building content workflows.
- Experience in nonprofit marketing nice to have.
- Demonstrated experience building with AI tools: prompts, skills, agents, loops, workflow automations, and evaluation methods.
- Proven track record of leading and executing successful product launches and campaigns across channels.
- Working knowledge of structured content, markdown, and content management systems.
- Practical understanding of SEO, GEO, and AEO, including structured data and how AI systems select sources to cite.
- Strong editorial judgment.
- Expertise in managing content launch timelines.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for different audiences and channels.
- Experience in analytics and attribution.
How We’ll Support You:
- Join the largest marketing and fundraising company in North America serving the nonprofit industry, where we prioritize innovation and professional growth.
- Collaborate with industry subject matter experts with over 5,000 employees across the enterprise.
- To help you stay energized, engaged, and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits, including comprehensive healthcare, paid holidays, and generous paid time off so you can have the time and space to recharge and pursue your other passions and be with the people you care about.
- Moore is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
