Forklift Operator / Material Handler - 1st Shift # Custom Filters Direct | Bloomsburg, PA $18.00/hour to start, with a potential pay increase based on a 90-day performance review Weekly Pay . $50 Weekly Attendance Bonus Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM . Full-Time, On-Site Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Paid Holidays After 90 Days Overtime as needed. Attendance bonus is subject to meeting attendance requirements. About the Position Custom Filters Direct is hiring a dependable Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will move raw materials and finished products, keep production supplied, and help prepare orders for shipment. This position includes work both on and off the forklift. When forklift work is caught up, you will assist with labeling, pallet preparation, housekeeping, and other warehouse duties. Responsibilities 1. Safely operate sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipment as trained and authorized. 2. Transport raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. 3. Keep production areas supplied with materials to maintain workflow. 4. Load and unload trucks and stage outgoing shipments. 5. Verify product identification, quantities, and storage locations. 6. Label and wrap pallets and assist with inventory checks. 7. Complete pre-use equipment inspections and report damage or operating concerns. 8. Follow designated traffic routes and work safely around pedestrians, equipment, and loading docks. 9. Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete other warehouse tasks as assigned. Qualifications 1. Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 2. Sit-down forklift experience preferred. 3. Ability to handle materials carefully and maintain accurate product counts. 4. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to reliably commute to our Bloomsburg facility. 5. Ability to follow instructions, communicate with coworkers, and adapt to changing priorities. 6. Availability to work the scheduled hours and overtime as needed. 7. Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials, with or without reasonable accommodation. A current forklift certification is not required to apply. Operators must complete the required equipment and workplace training and evaluation before being authorized to operate independently.
