Long Term Substitute - Elementary

***Long Term Substitute*** Must hold Elementary Grades K-6 Certification or be eligible to obtain either certification.

We are looking for a dynamic elementary grade teacher who will provide an educational program for elementary grade students in an environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students to promote positive attitudes of self-worth; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for further participation in the total school program, in accordance with each student's ability; establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.

Requirements

Application Requirements:

1. To be employed as a teacher in the State of Rhode Island, it is necessary to be certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education. Candidates should determine their certification eligibility prior to applying for employment.
2. Only completed application packets will be reviewed.
3. All completed application packets must contain three (3) current letters of recommendation. At least one letter of recommendation must be provided by a supervisor.
