Description Do you have experience in banking, credit unions, or lending and an eye for catching mistakes? CU*Answers is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst / Engineer to help test, troubleshoot, and improve the software used by credit unions nationwide. We're especially interested in candidates with financial services experience, particularly lending, who understand the importance of accuracy, quality control, and problem-solving. Previous software testing experience is a plus, but we're also interested in professionals with backgrounds in financial operations, auditing, compliance, or quality review.

What You'll Do

Test new software features, updates, and enhancements to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify, investigate, and document software issues.
Perform manual testing and assist with automated testing processes.
Work with developers and product teams to troubleshoot problems and improve software functionality.
Review testing results, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
Support software releases and maintain accurate testing documentation.

What You Bring

At least one year of financial services experience, particularly in lending, is strongly preferred.
Experience with quality control, auditing, compliance reviews, process verification, or software testing is highly valued.
Understanding of banking operations, financial transactions, or lending processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to learn new technology and work independently or collaboratively.
Associate degree in IT or equivalent relevant work experience.

Additional Skills That Are a Plus Experience with manual or automated software testing, tools such as Katalon Studio or Selenium, or scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Groovy is beneficial. Familiarity with IBM iSeries systems or software development processes is also valuable but not required.

Why Join CU*Answers? You'll be part of a collaborative team helping improve technology that credit unions rely on every day. Whether your background is in financial services, quality control, or software testing, this is an opportunity to apply your knowledge, develop technical skills, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Interested? Apply today and help us build better software.
