We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Quality Control Inspector Lead for our computer repair operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provides work instructions to other employees with the group
- Monitors work output of the group against performance expectations
- Provides feedback to supervisor or manager on group performance and compliance to company policies and procedures
- Assists team members with tasks and training as needed
- Learns and uses new processes and procedures
- Monitors and maintains the flow and distribution of units within the process
- Completes functional testing on repaired units, computer components and subcomponents
- Performs visual mechanical inspection (VMI) of units, computer components and subcomponents
- Collects data and data enter inspection results in database or software program
- Verifies documentation
- Communicates with company management and customer contacts through written communication (email and messaging)
- Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
- May create or work with various reports
- May perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years or more experience in an electronics quality inspection role
- 1 year or more of experience leading others, preferred
- Proficient English abilities required
- Basic familiarity with computer use required
- Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
- Excellent time-management skills
Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions
- Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting and twisting
- Occasional stooping, crouching, or crawling
- Frequent pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs.
