Mental Health Counselor (Master’s) – Providence Youth Behavioral Residential Center, Anchorage, AK We are hiring for Mental Health Counselor positions at Providence Youth Behavioral Residential Center in Anchorage, AK.

Available Schedules:

• Full time, 1.0 FTE, Evening shift, 40 hours per week
• Per diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable shift, hours per week as needed

Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of clinical programming for the Crisis Recovery Center
• Provide direct client care including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy
• Deliver client, family, peer, and community education
• Coordinate services with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related health field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Counselor License (LPC), Psychological Associate License (LPA), or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) upon hire
• Two years of clinical experience
