Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary Step Down Unit - Night shift. This 12-hour position supports patients in a 24-bed telemetry unit with the capability to care for step-down patients. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care plans, medication administration, communication, teamwork, and adherence to established patient ratios. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: State licensure verification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Additional Information:
• Provides care within a 24-bed telemetry unit capable of supporting up to 8 step-down patients.
• Performs patient assessments, develops care plans, and administers medications.
• Follows patient ratios of 3:1 for step-down assignments, 5:1 during day shifts, and 6:1 during night shifts.
• Participates in team nursing, communication, and collaborative patient care.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
