Job Summary Registered Nurse, Step Down Unit. The role supports patients in progressive care, medical-surgical, and telemetry settings based on clinical skill and organizational need. The assignment requires acute care experience, travel experience, and the ability to float within the established skill set. Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license; two years of progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry acute care experience; travel experience; completion of the Registered Nurse Step Down (PCU) specialty examination and required skills assessment; proficiency with EPIC.
- Additional Information:
- Contract lengths may range from 13 to 26 weeks.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage is required.
- The assignment may be on a progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry unit, based on clinical skills and organizational need.
- Onsite floating within the established skill set may be required.
