Job Summary Registered Nurse, Step Down Unit - Provides nursing care for patients requiring progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry services. Assignment placement is based on clinical skills and current unit needs, with contract options ranging from 13 to 26 weeks. Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered nurse licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry acute care experience
- Travel nursing experience
- Completion of the Registered Nurse Step Down specialty examination and required skills validation
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday availability is required.
- The assignment may be on a progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry unit based on clinical skills and operational needs.
- Floating within the applicable clinical skill set may be required.
