• Required Qualifications: Stepdown or progressive care experience; telemetry experience; experience administering titratable or cardiac intravenous medications, including nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, heparin, or bumetanide; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with prostacyclins, including Flolan, Veletri, or Remodulin; relief charge experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Clinical Responsibilities and Environment: Care for patients with congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, chest pain, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and post-cardiac catheterization, stent, pacemaker, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, or ablation procedures. Typical procedures include bedside cardioversion. Patient ratios are generally 1:4, with potential staffing at a 1:5 ratio. A flexible, positive, compassionate team player is preferred. Required attire is all white or all navy blue, or a white top with navy blue pants.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Assignment Dates: 11/23/2026–02/22/2027.
