Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and organizational policies. The position provides direct patient care, coordinates services with the healthcare team, supports patient and family education, and promotes safe, effective, and equitable outcomes. Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, temporary or interim Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, or compact Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, including experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, and additional related education or experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Weekend and holiday rotation may be required. The position may require frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching; the ability to assist patients with ambulation and transfers; use of standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids; effective communication skills; and periodic use of a personal computer. The position may require lifting up to 75 pounds. COVID-19 requirements apply, and religious exemptions are not available.
