Job Summary The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for a position in the OR specialty. The role involves supporting surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment, working with a team to ensure smooth anesthesia and surgical processes, and following strict safety and sterilization protocols. Job Details

• Position Description: Unit notes include ratios (1 to 1), EMR use (Cerner Surginet), charge nurse reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, and other clinical details such as hospitalist or intensivist presence, and available technology like Phillips ventilators. The schedule consists of 10-hour days with varied start times, call requirements including weekends and weeknights, and a typical patient population involving cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG, valve procedures, pacers, lead extractions, and lung surgeries.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), COVID vaccine, minimum of 2 years of experience, and active licensure to submit.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, start date 11/09/2026, end date 02/08/2027.
• Additional Information: Support the OR team during complex cardiovascular procedures, adhere to hospital policies including cancellation protocols, and participate in orientation with a preceptor.
