Job Summary ORT (Operating Room Technician) – Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech – Location not specified. This position involves assisting with surgical procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and surgical team. The role includes patient preparation, transport, and support for surgical care to ensure safety and comfort in a fast-paced surgical environment. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Position start date is 11/02/2026 and end date is 01/30/2027.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of recent surgical technology experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program (not required).
• Responsibilities include supporting surgical procedures, ensuring proper handling of instruments and supplies, and responding to emergent situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Schedule Notes: Candidate must have BLS certification. The work hours are 7 am to 7:30 pm CST, with three 12-hour shifts and one call per week, including every sixth weekend.
