Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician - Operating Room - Portland, Maine. The position supports surgical services in a Level 1 trauma setting, with cranial experience required. The role requires participation in scheduled call coverage and strong procedural experience, including neurosurgical and ENT cases. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• At least 3 years of experience
• At least 1 year of travel experience
• Cranial and neurosurgical experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Strong ear, nose, and throat procedural background
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with general surgery, genitourinary and gynecologic procedures, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joint procedures, ear, nose, and throat procedures, pediatrics, plastics, dental procedures, or endovascular procedures
• Single-port robotic surgery experience
• Additional Information:
• Call coverage of 90–110 hours per 8-week time block is required.
• Weekday call is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend call is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• The operating room includes a 1:1 patient ratio.
