Job Summary Surgical Technician, Operating Room Tech. This position supports surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile supplies, instruments, and operating room environments. The role requires strong orthopedic experience, sterile processing expertise, and the ability to adapt to variable case schedules and call responsibilities. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Start times are generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with potential start times as early as 6:30 a.m. or as late as 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m., depending on surgical cases.
• Required Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist license
• Associate degree or certificate
• Graduation from a certified surgical technologist program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong orthopedic experience
• Experience in sterile processing
• Additional Information: This is a 13-week assignment beginning 11/02/2026 and ending 01/30/2027. Call responsibilities include approximately 1–2 call periods per week from the end of the shift until 7:00 a.m. the following day, as well as call coverage every fourth weekend from Friday through 7:00 a.m. Monday. Holiday call is required, although holiday shifts are not scheduled. Variable start times may be assigned based on surgical case requirements. Standard surgical supplies and instruments are used. During flu season, individuals who decline influenza or COVID-19 vaccination must wear a mask at all times.
