Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary Surgical Technician, Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician - The surgical technologist prepares operating rooms, maintains the sterile field, manages surgical equipment and supplies, passes instruments during procedures, and performs surgical counts. The position supports orthopedic, general, spine, vascular, urology, and obstetric procedures, with experience using robotic platforms preferred. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts with a rotating weekday off; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• Certification through the national Certified Surgical Technologist examination
• At least 3 years of surgical technologist experience
• Ability to prepare and manage the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, solutions, and specimens
• Ability to perform sponge and supply counts to help prevent retained surgical items
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Registered Surgical Technologist (CRST) certification
• Experience with da Vinci, Mako, and Globus robotic platforms
• Additional Information:
• Supports orthopedic, general, spine, vascular, urology, and obstetric procedures
• Call is not required
• Floating is not required
• Scrubs are provided
• The position supports a 1:1 surgical technologist-to-room assignment
