Job Summary Surgical Technician, Operating Room Technician - This position supports surgical technician functions in the surgical area and provides patient care in accordance with departmental standards and policies. The role offers a full-time weekday schedule with occasional call responsibilities and requires completion of an accredited surgical technology program and required life support certification. Job Details

• Schedule: Days; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional call until 7:00 PM.
• Required Qualifications:
• Successful graduation from a program meeting the core curriculum requirements for Surgical Technology accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior surgical technician experience preferred.
• Additional Information:
• Performs surgical technician functions in the surgical area.
• Provides patient care in accordance with departmental standards and policies.
• No overnight call or weekend responsibilities.
• Pre-employment health clearance includes required immunizations, respiratory fit testing, physical examination, drug screening, and background screening.
• Required completion of applicable mandatory reporter certifications and education modules before the start of the assignment.
