Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician/Operating Rm Tech

Job Summary Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician, ORT. This position supports surgical procedures by preparing operating room equipment, assisting the surgeon, sterilizing surgical supplies, and assembling scheduled and emergency case carts. The role follows a weekday schedule with rotating call responsibilities. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 8-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call rotation is one day per week, occasionally two days, and every fifth weekend.
• Required Qualifications:
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of scrubbing experience in an operating room setting
• Strong communication skills
• Additional Information:
