Job Summary Surgical Technician - Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician: This position supports a broad range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neurological, and vascular cases. The role requires strong critical-thinking skills, comprehensive knowledge of central processing and instrumentation, and the ability to respond to call coverage needs. Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current, broad surgical technology experience across orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and other procedures; excellent critical-thinking skills; comprehensive knowledge of central processing and surgical instrumentation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Schedule: Day shifts of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Call coverage includes approximately every fifth weekend and one to two call shifts per week, with a 30-minute response time. Holiday call rotation may also be required.
- Assignment Period: 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
