Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Tech

Job Summary Sterile Processing Technician, Sterile Processing, Ottumwa, Iowa. This position supports central sterile operations and sterile processing services within a healthcare setting. The role is scheduled for day shifts and includes call coverage to support operating room needs. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• At least 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Mandatory reporter certification covering child and adult populations.
• Iowa SING background check, including criminal and child abuse clearances.
• Fully cleared county and state background checks before the start date.
• Ten-panel drug screening, including opiates.
• Titers for measles, mumps, and rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and tuberculosis completed within the previous 12 months.
• Additional Information:
• Call coverage is required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Monday or Tuesday start dates may be accepted.
• Scrubs are provided.
• The position supports a department with five operating rooms.
• Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 02/06/2027.
