Original job description
Job Summary Sterile Processing Tech, Sterile Processing. The role is responsible for preparing, decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing sterile supplies and equipment for use throughout the facility. Responsibilities also include making designated deliveries and pulling surgical case carts for the Operating Room. Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.; 8-hour shifts with every third weekend; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Central sterile certification through CBSPD or CRCST; high school-level education; at least 2.5 years of experience and completion of at least one travel placement. New travelers must have more than 3 years of experience.
- Additional Information:
- Prepare sterile linen, trays, metalware basins, equipment, and other supplies.
- Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize supplies.
- Make designated deliveries.
- Pull surgical case carts for the Operating Room.
