Job Summary Sterile Processing Technician - Sterile Processing Tech. The Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to members of the healthcare team. The position requires technical training, certification, attention to detail, and the ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic, and read temperature gauges. Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NICHSPDP certification; high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an appropriate aide training program or central technician program, or six months of previous central supply experience; ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges; 3–5 years of experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week; weekend and holiday rotation.
- Additional Information: Provides sterile products and instruments to members of the healthcare team. The assignment duration is 13 weeks. The interview process includes a phone interview and a 30-minute panel interview.
