Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Tech

Job Summary Sterile Processing Technician, Sterile Processing - Spokane, WA. This position supports decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, documentation, and storage for a broad range of surgical specialties in an acute care setting. The role is scheduled for night shifts and requires experience in a large, acute care, teaching healthcare facility. Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification; two years of experience, or one year of Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) experience in a large, acute care, teaching healthcare facility; proficiency in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, documentation, storage, and low-temperature sterilization.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SPM instrument tracking.
• Schedule: Night shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Supports open heart, vascular, orthopedic, genitourinary, general, plastic, neurological, ear, nose, and throat, spine, and robotic procedures. No weekend rotation, on-call shifts, or holiday assignments are required. Orientation may be provided for up to one week based on the professional’s comfort level.
