Operating Room Tech / Certified Operating Room Tech

Job Summary Certified Operating Room Tech position supporting surgical procedures in an operating room setting. The role assists with surgical patient preparation, maintains a sterile environment, ensures equipment is functioning safely, and performs delegated technical duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Ortho, scrubbing, da Vinci, and travel experience are required. Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week; weekend, call, and holiday coverage required.
• Required Qualifications:
• Certified Surgical Tech certification
• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Travel experience
• Orthopedic experience
• Surgical scrubbing experience
• da Vinci experience
• Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation used in the clinical operating room
• Additional Information:
• Assist with preparation and care of surgical patients according to applicable standards and policies.
• Perform precise and efficient technical duties as scrub personnel during surgical procedures.
• Create and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
• Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• May be asked to precept new staff.
• Must arrive within 30 minutes when called in.
