Job Summary Endoscopy Technician, Endoscopy Tech - Frisco, TX. The Endoscopy Technician assists with technical procedures, patient care services, equipment maintenance, room preparation, and patient transport under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. The position supports gastrointestinal procedures and maintains safe, clean, and properly stocked procedure areas. Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential; at least 2 years of experience with upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures, scope decontamination, Medivator use, Olympus scopes, advanced cases, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopes, food bolus procedures, gastrointestinal bleeding, and Spyglass.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; rotating call coverage includes 15 days per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, assisting physicians and clinical staff with aseptic procedures, preparing patients and procedure rooms, observing patients and reporting condition changes, transporting equipment, cleaning and disinfecting specialty equipment, restocking supplies, maintaining inventory, and performing equipment quality checks. Navy blue or black scrubs are required; operating room scrubs are available for use. The assignment is 4 weeks with the possibility of extension.
