Job Summary Xray Technologist, XRAY TECH, New Jersey - performs diagnostic imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable professional guidelines. The role supports patient safety and comfort, equipment maintenance, procedure coordination, and quality imaging practices. • Schedule: Day shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1–3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper equipment care
• Knowledge of healthcare informatics, clinical practice trends, and developments in hardware and software technology
• Strong problem identification, resolution, analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• Additional Information:
• Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Assesses equipment and patient safety, procedural needs, and physical and physiological comfort.
• Monitors the need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Maintains equipment used during procedures.
• Weekday coverage may include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Wednesday coverage from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Candidates should be focused on X-ray-specific roles.
