Job Summary Xray Technologist, XRAY TECH. The position performs diagnostic radiology procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations, including routine X-rays, fluoroscopic exams, C-arm procedures, and lumbar punctures. The role supports a high-volume department and requires recent specialty experience, operating room and fluoroscopy experience, and holiday coverage. Job Details
- Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty; operating room and fluoroscopy experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing inpatient and outpatient diagnostic radiology procedures, including routine X-rays, fluoroscopic exams, C-arm procedures, and lumbar punctures. The department averages approximately 150 exams during a 24-hour period. Holiday coverage includes 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day; and 1 of the following minor holidays: the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
