Job Summary Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, Computed Tomography (CT) specialty. This position coordinates and performs diagnostic computed tomography procedures, operates complex imaging equipment, prepares patients, administers contrast media as appropriate, and ensures image quality and patient safety. The role includes monitoring patients, maintaining equipment and supplies, supporting specialized radiological procedures, and participating in quality improvement activities during night shifts. • Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of computed tomography experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous traveler experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include positioning and safely transferring patients, applying immobilization devices, obtaining relevant medical history and allergy information, administering intravenous contrast media according to protocol, capturing and storing diagnostic images, monitoring for allergic reactions, assisting with emergency medical situations, maintaining equipment calibration and quality control, supporting specialized radiological procedures, maintaining supplies, and participating in departmental quality assessments and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
