Job Summary CT Technologist, CT, Aventura, FL. This position performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography scans, magnetic resonance imaging, body scanning, and X-rays. The role requires strong communication skills, anatomical and medical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate with physicians, radiologists, patients, and technical staff. • Schedule: Day shift; 10-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Registered Technologist certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT))
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
• RT (T)
• American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) credentials
• Fellow of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (FASRT) credentials
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Additional Information:
• Performs computed tomography scans, magnetic resonance imaging, body scans, and X-rays.
• Creates images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic assessment.
• Works with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients.
• Patient assignments may vary based on patient stability.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking ability are valued.
