Job Summary CT Technologist, CT specialty, performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a fast-paced trauma and academic medical center setting. The role supports diagnostic imaging for trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, intensive care, research, and specialized CT-guided procedures while promoting patient safety and radiation protection. • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved two-year radiologic technology school and high school graduate; New York State registration in diagnostic radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York State; registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Schedule: Nights; Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; three 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week; no on-call responsibilities.
• Additional Information: Performs computed tomography (CT) examinations for trauma, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, intensive care, research, and specialized CT-guided procedures. Provides a safe and positive patient experience, supports teaching and continued learning, and enforces radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health Code Part 16.
