About Credo Beauty

Credo Beauty is your destination for beauty with the highest standard. We thoroughly evaluate every product, and every ingredient, for efficacy, safety, and sustainability. Our boutique team is the living expression of that standard: knowledgeable, service-driven, and genuinely passionate about helping guests find beauty they can trust.

The Role

The Clean Beauty Lead is a key member of the Credo Beauty management team. You lead by example on the floor, drive team education and performance, and help the boutique operate smoothly while delivering the exceptional guest experience that sets Credo Beauty apart. This role is equal parts service leader, team trainer, and operational partner.

What You'll Do

Guest Services

Set the standard for floor awareness, ensuring every guest is warmly and promptly greeted.
Lead guest conversations about Credo's mission, standards, and brand initiatives with confidence.
Deliver expert product recommendations and perform Credo Custom Services including skincare consultations, mini facials, and makeup applications.
Identify opportunities to upsell products and services while modeling the Credo service and selling approach.
Stay current on new and existing products to serve guests at the highest level.

Team Training & Education

Act as the in-store training liaison, working with the Credo Training & Education team to drive daily learning initiatives.
Share product, service, and selling knowledge with Clean Beauty Ambassadors and Experts.
Monitor Credo Learn engagement and encourage team completion of required and elective modules.
Attend monthly Education & Training meetings and cascade information back to the store team.
Support onboarding and training for new hires and seasonal staff in partnership with management.

Operations & Management

Partner with management to review and execute daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans.
Support and drive company initiatives, including sustainability efforts, brand launches, campaigns, and events.
Communicate clearly and consistently with the Boutique Manager and store team.
Uphold company policies and report performance or policy concerns to the Boutique Manager.
Handle sales, refunds, exchanges, and cash responsibilities using the POS system.
Lead store opening and closing procedures.
Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness, and stock standards in compliance with HQ directives.
Support and help lead inventory preparation, organization, and cycle counts.
Utilize Credo Live (the store clientele platform) to build guest relationships and support team clienteling goals.
Adhere to Credo Dress Code and Hygiene Policy.
Ability to lift, move, and carry inventory up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for the duration of a shift.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of retail beauty experience in a keyholder or leadership role required.
Experience in a service and selling environment within the beauty industry.
Ability to demonstrate and recommend products across skincare, makeup, hair, and body.
Proven ability to build relationships with guests and inspire team members.
Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and comfort with store systems.
Adaptable and solutions-oriented, able to respond quickly to shifting store priorities.
Reliable, consistent, and on time for every shift.
Flexible availability including at least one weekend day, evenings, and holidays.
Passion for Credo's mission, standards, and the guests we serve.
Additional education in esthetics or a relevant field is a plus.

Benefits

401K
Sick time off
Paid Personal Time (16 hours PT)
EAP Resources
Monthly bonus
Training & development
Associate referral program
Employee discount and complimentary products from brand partners
