Description/Role

Scope of Work:

1. Contractor will provide technical staff to lead on-going application development (web and mobile) and system integration efforts for the department of Alcohol Beverage Services.
2. Contractor will provide candidate(s) with proven experience in:

• Advanced web and mobile application development against the complete Microsoft web application development stack
• Integration with, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure services such as File Storage, Cognitive search, Notification Hub, App Service.
• Leveraging Amazon.com's cloud-computing platform (AWS), specifically EC2, Connect, and Lex
• iOS and Android mobile app development

3. Experience with Montgomery County’s IT infrastructure as well as policies and procedures, though not required, is a plus.
4. Contract staff will provide knowledge transfer to departmental staff.

Deliverables:

• The Contractor shall complete tasks associated with the lifecycle of application development (web and mobile) as directed by the project manager and in compliance with ABS-IT’s and the County’s application design requirements and standards.
• The Contractor will participate in regular code review sessions.
• The Contractor will assist requirements gathering.
• The Contractor will contribute to the development of technical documentation.
• The Contractor will contribute to the development and execution of test plans.
• The Contractor will deploy web applications and associated databases objects into a production environment after successfully testing
• The Contractor shall perform other technical duties as directed by the project manager
