The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is

This position

is responsible for

a variety of planning activities within the Transportation Planning Department and

reports to the

Director of Transportation Planning or the

Deputy

Director of

Transportation Planning

.

, depending on the applicant's qualifications, and the salary range reflects both grades.

CRCOG has posted three concurrent positions in its Transportation Planning Department. Depending on the strength of the applicant pool, CRCOG intends to hire two of the three.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide transportation

planning, research, and policy analysis for the CRCOG region;

upport

or oversee

numerous

CRCOG planning studies, including the RFQ process, consultant selection, contracting, and invoicing;

W

orking with other staff to help the Agency and municipalities complete transportation projects and initiatives

A

ssist

in organizing Transportation Committee meetings and

activities;

Assign and oversee tasks for one or more transportation planning staff members (Principal level)
