Assistant Manager

Description Since 1972, Cousins Subs has been serving up better subs and a better place to work. We’re looking for hands-on leaders who are ready to support their team, take ownership, and grow with us. This is a full-time role requiring open availability and a strong work ethic.

What You’ll Do

• Be on the floor 80–90% of the time - making subs, running the line, supporting the team
• Open or close the store (bread baking starts as early as 6 AM, closing until 11 PM)
• Help manage schedules, inventory, hiring, and training
• Step in for the GM when needed
• Make sure the store meets quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Handle guest complaints professionally
• Follow food safety and health code standards

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of management experience
• Open availability (weekends, early mornings, late evenings)
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
• Dependability and a team-first attitude
• Must pass a background check
