Special Education Instructor

Special Education Teacher Position - 2027-2028 School Year We are seeking a compassionate and skilled special education teacher to join our team for the 2027-2028 school year. Position Details:

• Special education teaching position (grade level/setting to be determined based on qualifications and school needs)
• Full-time position beginning August 2027

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in special education (or in process of completion for May 2027 graduates)
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Experience with differentiated instruction and accommodations/modifications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive practices and student advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support in various settings
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development
