This developer will work on mission-critical software applications, from large operational systems to average-sized products, through a mix of in-house development and integration of vendor-provided products with internal database connections and other API interfaces. In joint effort with these agencies, the unit is modernizing its systems, environments, and tool sets, and expanding and migrating its services to meet evolving industry standards and best practices. This is a full stack, Java-based position on an Agile development team that performs all developer roles on large and moderate-sized complex system functions and products, and it requires advanced knowledge of application coding, technical environments, development tools, and typical application development processes. In keeping with industry trends, the developer is expected to adopt and become proficient in AI-assisted coding methods and tool sets alongside the team. The role requires excellent communication with business users and technical staff, the ability to handle multiple assignments, and consistent, independent delivery against estimated deadlines.
