Description:

We are looking for a talented and highly effective Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to join our development and support team. We are currently supporting, enhancing and maintaining the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system. The enhancements include use of latest technologies as needed to interface/integrate with other systems on different platforms and automation of current processes.

Required Skills/Experience:

Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. These requirements will be transferred to the Score Sheet and candidates without these requirements reflected on their resume will

NOT be presented to the manager for consideration.

• Programming experience in Natural, and the utilization of ADABAS. Experience running Natural processes in batch via JCL and/or SCL, and online. Experience in the analysis, design, and programming of large or complex development

projects on large-scale IBM Mainframe/Linux systems. (10 years experience)

• Experience with automated eligibility determination systems. (4years experience)
• Ability to provide subject matter expertise on system architectures (3 years experience)
• Business Skill Set/Requirements (Requirement)
• Ability to provide recommendations regarding enhancements to the systems and processes (3 years experience)
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes (3 years

experience)

• Technical/Business Skill Set (Requirement)

federal mandates as implemented or similar to those in MAVS, the Mississippi statewide eligibility system. (2 years

experience)

• Experience interpreting, designing and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems such as MAVS. (2

years experience)

*Knowledge of promoting system notices from the testing environments all the way to production. (2 years experience)

Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory

experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.

Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
