Handyman

POSITION PURPOSE:The Handyman will oversee and complete a wide range of repairs throughout the facility location. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work etc. We are looking for someone to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:

• Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs
• Regularly perform various maintainenance tasks
• Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
• Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Provide minor painting services
• Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
• All other duties as defined by your supervisor

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
