This position reports directly to the Director of Multifamily Learning & Operations.

This position can work remote within any of our core markets (CO, MN, IL, WI, GA, FL, MI, AZ). Candidates must reside within one hour of a major airport, as this role requires up to 75% travel to our communities as needed, as well as periodic visits to our home office in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert in Community Manager responsibilities and processes for both lease-up and stabilized communities
  • Build and facilitate in-person and virtual trainings and workshops for Community Managers, in partnership with the Multifamily Learning Manager
  • Build a training evaluation structure to measure results, and adapt training based on feedback
  • Facilitate quarterly trainings on financial processes, including reclasses, accruals and forecasting
  • Host monthly check-ins with new Community Managers to review onboarding progress, and update the Community Operations Leader as appropriate
  • Oversee Resident Relation Manager development to Community Manager through the Elevate Program
  • Visit new lease-ups 60-90 days before the first building to provide customized training on lease-up sales, process and strategy, and mentor Community Managers through the early lease-up window

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Three (3) or more years of Community Management experience required, with a proven track record of training others; experience managing both lease-up and stabilized communities required
  • One (1) or more years of experience in a training role preferred
  • Knowledge of multifamily property operations and financials, curriculum design and technical writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, RealPage’s OneSite and Ops Technology required; Funnel CRM and SmartRent preferred
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally depending on travel and training needs
