JOB TITLE : Web Developer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in UI design sessions across several application redesign efforts.
• Design, implement, test all changes needed across each system build.
• Participate in production support for resulting areas of responsibility.
• Support Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Web designers might also be responsible for the maintenance of an existing site.
• Continuous performance optimization of our RoR application.
• The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming.
• Desire and ability to document code, and write documentation in support of the software.

Requirements :

• Adequate knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Python relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming , web application development.
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
• Comfortable working with relational database systems such as MySQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.
• Familiar with JavaScript and Css3 / html5.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

Qualifications

Eligibility :

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Advanced degree is a plus.
